Music
I'm a guitarist and I write songs about the future
Influences-
My guitar playing is influenced by neo-classical guitarists including Yngwie Malmsteen, Marty Friedman, Jason Becker and Paul Gilbert. Classic Heavy Metal bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Scorpions shape my song-writing.
Lyrical themes I explore are inspired from grand Science-Fiction narratives from authors including H.G. Wells, Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, and William Gibson. ***
Starchild
Starchild is the story of a scout-ship pilot. Faced with an imminent catastrophe on Earth, he soars among the stars, scouring for an alternate habitat for mankind.
Lyrics:
Through star dust and burning-white stellar clouds I glide
Much like the mariner from an ancient rhyme
Wormholes and red-giant suns — they race me by
Lost forever in space
In the everlasting night
Gone!
Before I can wonder what secrets they hide!

Through star dust and burning-white stellar clouds I glide
Much like the mariner from an ancient rhyme
Wormholes and red-giant suns — they race me by
Lost forever in space
In the everlasting night
Gone!
Before I can wonder what secrets they hide
Our worst fears have come true, ancient scientists were right
Wrath of nature spared none-
Man, Woman or child!
Blasting through the boundaries, speeding across the void
Breaking barriers of space and time!
Look out for my ship, keep an eye on the night sky
You'll only see a shimmering light!
Hold on little child, live your last days on earth
I wish you had some more time
When all else fails
Man's only chance to live is to live being a Starchild!
Live being a Starchild!
Ojeyo Shokti
Ojeyo Shokti(Invincible) was my first attempt at song-writing. Probably the first and only Bengali song narrating a science-fiction story, it expresses the hopelessness of facing a technologically superior opponent that’s indifferent to your suffering.
Lyrics:

Laser Beam...
Laser Beam...
